Effective Utilisation of E-Resources and Services by Research Scholars in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli: A Study

Abstract

This article discusses the use of e-resources and services by Research Scholars in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, 41% of the Respondents use Internet for 2 hours per day. 48% of respondents seek information for Academic/Improvement, 57% of the respondents use pen drive for storing the information from the Internet. 37% of the Scholars use E-mail for communication, overload of information on the Internet is the prime problem felt by the Internet users, Among the respondents, majority are excellent with Internet facilities (45%), 38.3% are good, 2.5% are less satisfied. Half of the respondents utilise the Internet daily.
