Use of ICT as a Tool for Enhancing Children's Creativity in Government Schools

Abstract

This paper describes the ICT usage of children in government schools and in their homes and also discusses about the knowledge of searching Internet and its advantages and disadvantages. Study examines the extent of ICT using of children in schools among the students and members of faculty of government schools of Bhadravathi and Shimoga city. Results reveal that all the selected schools have libraries and also have ICTrelated sources for class purpose. The overview is based on questionnaires and personal observations and involvement and is further examined children's enhancing of knowledge with different ICT programmes and using knowledge with proper guidance of the teachers.
