Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is contributing its maximum in every sphere of human life including the library and information science. The ICT ensures the perfect delivery of quality research output, facilitating to provide concise and relevant information to the researchers, enabling more efficient information management, and good governance and efficient administration. These developments in web technology and ICT have encouraged a shift of the traditional Print Journals to Electronic Journals. In this innovative scenario, the libraries prefer E-Journals mainly because of their inherent features. This study attempted to examine the usage pattern of Electronic Journals in the universities of Haryana and Delhi states. This study revealed that the usage of Electronic Journals among the faculty members and research scholars in Social Science engaged in research in the selected universities of Northern India.
