Use of e-ShodhSindhu Resources by the Research Scholars of University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) Status Universities of Karnataka State; A Study

Abstract

The advanced developments in Information Communication Technology (ICT) have drastically changed library scenario. Electronic Information Recourses are becoming more essential source for research community. The e-ShodhSindhu Consortia is a major initiative of University Grants Commission (UGC) to bring qualitative change in academic libraries in India. The study focuses on the awareness and use of e-ShodhSindhu Resources by the research scholars of science and technology (S&T) discipline of “University with Potential for Excellence” (UPE) awarded Universities of Karnataka state i.e. Karnatak University, Dharwad (KUD) and University of Mysore, Mysuru (UMM).
