Human resource management in MPKV University Library and Govt. Agriculture Colleges of MPKV Jurisdiction (MAHARASHTRA): A survey

The present study was conducted on agriculture college libraries of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri (Maharashtra) to explore the extent of Human Resource Management (HRM) usually practiced by them. This study is an attempt to identify the present status of Human Resource Management pattern along with their services provided by agriculture libraries and some suggestions are recommended regarding the development of the library human resource structure. The study is based on primary as well as secondary information. Data has been collected through a questionnaire and also on the basis of the interview method. The finding of the study shows that the agriculture university and college library professionals are insufficient to maintain a modern agriculture library system as needed.
