The paper focused on Facebook usage by the students at Achievement of Adi Chunachangiri University (ACU), Karnataka, India. FB can increase influence between faculties and students in web-based communication. The objective was to determine the level of Facebook usage on user's academic achievement. The survey research design was adopted, the sample size of 300 was selected through random sampling technique. Among the respondents with regard to the purpose of ‘making academic discussion group’ many respondents scoring, 138(46%) says ‘Strongly agree. The table 6 shows that the majority of the respondents replied that the communication medium of - ‘Facebook’, scoring 168(56) say 'strongly agree'. Questionnaire used for data collection, among the results of the study showed that users were Facebook usage.
