Methods of facilitating data collection for researcher in areas of library science -A review

Research refers to the coherent and systematic search for knowledge, learning is a continuous process for every individual. Researcher take up research for discovering and creating new knowledge which help in self development and exhibiting the same knowledge to the societal needs. With the advent of latest technology and innovation taking place, researchers are keen in proving their best, keep themselves on par with societal development. Research is important as it involves systematic and inductive thinking and promotes the development of logical habits of thinking. This paper highlights on Methods of Facilitating Data Collection for Researchers in Areas of Library Science -A Review. On the basis of research problems defined and literature reviewed, the method for data collection is designed. This paper concludes by proposing various simple methods that can be used by the researcher in areas of library science depending on their research problem defined.
