Information Seeking Behaviour of Post Graduate Science Students in KVNN Naik Arts, Commerce and Science College Nasik

The study found on the KVN Naik, Arts, Commerce and Science College Nasik, Maharashtra (India). Science Post Graduate students information needs and information seeking behaviour. The purpose is to find out the information needs, source use, satisfaction level, and improvement needs for library facilities, resources and services.

In this information needs and seeking behaviour study, one set online questionnaire has been developed to achieve the objective. Only Science Post Graduate students (session 2019– 2020) in the KVN Naik, Arts, Commerce and Science College Nashik, Maharashtra (INDIA) have been selected as main respondents. Data has been collected using Google form. Online questionnaires have been served through email to all the Science PG students.

The study depicted the Science PG students in the KVN Naik, Arts, Commerce and Science College Nasik, Maharashtra (INDIA). Information need and information seeking behaviour of science PG students was in-depth understanding of the major roles on overall college library development in the angle from the students; purview on KVN Naik, Arts, Commerce and Science College library.

The current finding is original and reflect the latest observation on the science PG students KVN Naik, Arts, Commerce and Science College Nasik, Maharashtra (INDIA) information-seeking behaviour in the KVN ACS College. The study benefits information Seekers and as well as library policy makers who provide the library collection development and better services to the users of the department.
