Organization of Osmania University library, Hyderabad: A study

Organization means systematic arrangement or grouping of physical things which depends upon the size, type, color, variety, etc. It is very important in our daily lives. It is very difficult rather impossible to do anything without proper organization and it leads to chaos. Everyday arrangement of things is being done in almost all places like home, office, medical stores etc. Similarly, libraries which are learning resource centres need to organize all their resources like books, journals, magazines, manuscripts, theses and dissertations, etc in a systematic manner in order to provide for the information needs of the users and for the effective retrieval of the required documents. The present paper throws light on Osmania university library's collection developments methods, organization of the library collection on the shelves, and the satisfaction level of the users on the organization of the library resources.
