Awareness and use of IRINS among the faculty members at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India

This paper studied to identify the awareness, features/factors and usage of IRINS among the faculty members at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. The questionnaires were used to collect the data in the universities among the faculty members of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. The 130 questionnaires were distributed, 124 questionnaires were filled and returned for usable by the participant and the remaining were waiting to be replied to. The response rate is 95.38.81%. Both ‘Male’ and ‘Female’ faculty members have prioritised the purpose of ‘API: Import publications from academic identities’. ‘Visualization: Networking of faculty through co-author network with map and Graphical representation to all’ and ‘Discovery: Key research area and research progress of faculty with several filters to find experts’ are the second and third preferences.
