This research study aims to assess Information Technology Literacy (ITL) skills among library staff under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) affiliated Engineering colleges. These affiliated colleges have a significant number of resources collected in print as well as digital form, subscribed e-resources, and technology platforms through the consortium to support the teaching, learning, and innovation activities of the university/colleges. VTU has been providing training to all librarians from time to time to build awareness and enhance the utilization of e-resources. This study shows that there is a necessity for advanced training for library professionals to improve the utilization of e-resources in the latest library automation software modules, various electronic resources, information searching tools, and different techniques to make effective searches, e-learning platforms, technological skills, knowledge about other virtual libraries, and course design of information literacy found under this study.
