This paper examines authorship trends, with a particular focus on collaborative research within the field of Library and Information Science. The study utilizes "PEARL: A Journal of Library and Information Science," based in New Delhi, as the primary source. A bibliometric analysis was conducted on 172 contributions published in the journal between 2019 and 2023. Single-author contributions accounted for 56 (32.56%) during this period, while the majority of contributions, 116 (67.44%), were collaborative efforts involving multiple authors. The findings indicate an increase in multi-author papers in the Library and Information Science field from 2019 to 2023, with a collaboration degree of 0.67 determined for the specified time frame.
