The problem of knowledge content and its augmentation is briefly elaborated and the concept of HRD and its role in knowledge augmentation is discussed. Considers the nature of knowledge, typologies of knowledge and the necessity to understand the complexity of knowledge, processes as a prerequisite to augment it.
