Abstract

Bibliometric study identify by the steady growth of research output in any field of knowledge. This study is initiated to analyse the citations referred by ophthalmologists. To find out which resources they are citing very often, preferred journal, authorship pattern, Article Age, Authors Self citation, etc. The present study provides an output of the Ophthalmologists who are working with Eye Research Centre. The Ophthalmologists are publishing minimum of 30 research articles every year both in National and International Peer Reviewed Journals. We have summarized our findings in this study and concluded that a group of authors have worked for more number of scholarly publications and they are citing maximum number of resources. Bibliometric analysis in any field enhances the level of research outcome.
