Abstract

In the state of Maharashtra, four agricultural university and six ICAR institute libraries are functioning and rendering information services to the users. Considering the present needs of the users and the use of modern information technology techniques the libraries are under digitalization. Basic concept behind the digital library it is necessary to have resource sharing in agricultural university and ICAR institute libraries in Maharashtra. In view of this integrated information system have been presented in this paper in the form of “MAH.AGU.AND ICARI NET” which needs coordination and cooperation of ICAR.
