Information and communication Technology (ICT) to Distance Learners

Information Technology is more prevalent in our day to day life. It provides better opportunities and methods of learning and teaching skills. Many studies claim that use of computer enhances and amplifies existing curriculum. Information and communication technology (ICT) is almost a personal guidance to the students who deprived of regular education. The present study attempted to know the distance education students aptitude towards ICT and its use. It also tried to know the reasons for not using information technology. The research had some findings relating to preference to reading material by the distance education students.
