This paper focuses on the emerging systems and trends on the open distance flexible learning which are widely accessible to large target groups of learners. The flexible learning through ODL system is well realised that affective and successful handling of the same is dependent on the University Library Services through various methods. It also emphasises the impact of the changing role of the librarian, Library professionals information institutional infrastructure, resource sharing information & Communication Technology applications to make the OD flexible learning more effective and accessible system. Also this paper suggests certain new approaches and directions in the present changing and wide spread trend for flexible OD learning through the University Library & Information services.
