Abstract

ICTs are a diverse set of technological tools used to communicate, and create, disseminate, store, and manage information. A computer network consists of set of communication channels interconnecting a set of computing devices or nodes that can communicate with each other. An attempt has been made in this study to identify the usage of CD-ROMs and Internet among the engineering graduates in Engineering Institutions in Cuddalore District. Nearly 240 questionnaires were distributed among the faculty and students of Three Engineering Institutions in Cuddalore District. Nearly 190 responses (79.16%) were received. It is found that all the respondents are using in one-way or the other various types of communication media tools.
