Studies the authorship trend and collaborative research in the field of Remote Sensing. The required data collected from ‘Journal of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing’ published during 2004–2006. Result shows Remote Sensing that three authored papers were maximum (30.92%) and the degree of collaboration in Remote Sensing is 0.94. The study indicate that contribution from research institutes and laboratories 96 (63.16%) is vividly ahead of other segments such as universities. Of 143 (94.07%) articles, a significant percent i.e. 31 (20.40%) is reported from Gujarat state.
