Abstract

Information users are not attuned to pay for the information which they needs. The libraries and information centres are not in position to generate their funds for maintaining the collection. They are solely dependent on the funding agencies. In recent times, we notice the recession in all spheres of economic activity an imposition of drastic cuts on funds. In this process, the libraries and information centres stand to suffer most, and can not maintain the level of information storage and supply as the flow of documents are restricted. In order to complement and supplement the collection, the librarians attempt to explore the unpublished literature in their respective subjects. In this paper, the authors attempt to deseribe various avenues, to mobilize the unpublished literature to meet the information requirement of users.
