Resources to enhance the Skills and Self Motivation of Library Professionals in the Changed Environment

Knowledge is Power, Knowledge is Wisdom, and Knowledge is Challenge. It changes human behavior, it provides status and value, it brings development, it enhances expertise and it brightens intelligence/skills/talent ‘n’ everything. Libraries are repositories of knowledge and knowledge mines. Librarians, Library Scientists and Library Professionals are disseminators of information. Present environment in higher education enrooted to vast information in all the subject areas and many new subjects are joining day by day. Proportionately, the increased needs of the users are enforcing the Library Professionals to enhance their skills and competency. The paper focuses on the available tools for such skills of library professionals and discusses little bit about self motivation.
