An Exploratory Approach to Assorted Facets of Electronic Books in Digital Era

The objective of this paper is to highlight various assorted facets of electronic books for apprising LIS professionals, teachers and students with the basic idea of eBooks with their potential advantages so that readers can feel like using it at the reference desk more comfortably compared to conventional books. The paper focuses on brief concepts of e-books, its classification and outlines some important facets of e-books which in turn will help the use, promotion, and collection development of eBooks.
