Medline Database is the life line of every Medical research. Medline created by National Library of Medicine is one of the largest and widely used databases in the field of Medicine. Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) is the key to search the Medical database efficiently. This paper discuses the characteristics and scope of Medical Subject Headings and also discusses the role of MeSH in the searching Online Health care databases.
