A Scientometric Portrait of Prof. S.S. Kubakaddi

The present paper is an output of a study carried out to know scientific work done by Prof. Kubakaddi and his role for the achievement of science in India and in the field of physics. The result of the study shows that Prof. Kubakaddi has published 4 single authored and 81 multi-authored (publications) papers during 1974–2008. The multiauthored papers including two-authored (22), including three-authored (48), fourauthored (11), table 2 shows that the first paper of the author was published in 1974 when he was 23. Highest productivity was in 1987 with the output of 9 publications (age 36) and highest collaboration coefficient (0.71) of Prof. Kubakaddi is found at the age of 44–48 (1995–1999). Prof. Kubakaddi's h – index is 7.
