The main aim of the study is to know the awareness and the use of Internet by the users of engineering colleges in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. The findings of the study are that the respondents are using the Internet for a period of 1–2 years, and majority of the female respondents prefer to access the Internet in their own systems, while male respondents prefer to access at cyber cafes. Suggestions have been given by the users for further improvement of Internet services in engineering colleges.
