Theses Online at Jawaharlal Nehru University an Initiative: The Problem and Prospect

Through this paper author discuss various agendas, issues and strategic plan that Central Library, Jawaharlal Nehru University has undertaken during the digitisation of theses collections and implementation of the electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) repository at JNU. Also, the paper broadly discuss the old practices, the problem, and the current practices of work flow plan at JNU for proper structuring of the theses collection, organisation, archive and access; and state how it would help university to effectively serve their end user communities and increase the value of scholarship and quality of research.
