In present world, IT sector plays a major part in business environment. These sectors provide service hardware, software, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and IT Enable Services (ITES) like Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO), Call Centre. Women workforce constitute approximately more than 45% of total work force, playing different roles of this IT sectors. It is indicated that women workforce face more challenges and issues than men workforce in their mid-career. The challenges are combination of maintaining their work life balance during their pregnancy period, gender discrimination, lack of potential growth of opportunities and income equalities of men, natural inequalities based on gender etc. These issues have emerged as vital challenge their mid-career life. This paper focusses on analysis of mid-career problems, main reasons behind these and suggests some points having potential for recommendations.
