Abstract

A confrontation study a set was conducted with twelve isolates representing two different species Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma viride. These potential biocontrol agents were tested for their efficacy against phytopathogenic fungi Pythium aphanidermatum and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, through dual culture technique. The isolate Th3 performed well against both the pathogenic fungi interms of percent mycelia inhibition and mean mycelia growth.
