The present study was conducted to assess the effect of environmental factors on population build up of whitefly, Bemisia tabaci and management using novel insecticides under polyhouse conditions. The investigation was carried out at Hi-Tech Horticulture of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa (Samastipur), Bihar during rabi season of 2019–20. The whitefly population was highest in 46th SMW and was positively correlated with maximum temperature and the coefficient of determination (R2) was worked out as 40%. Among insecticides, chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxam @ 150 g a.i. ha−1gave the maximum per cent reduction over control in all the three sprays.
