Abstract

Training is an attempt to keep organizations updated; it can be pro-active or reactive. In proactive instances organizations impart training before any major environmental challenge is posed, whereas in reactive training organizations impart training to re-act to environmental consequences. While, majority of today's organization arrange to give training; however in need based identification and implementation plan. This paper attempts to put forth the factors determining training effectiveness, based on case study (Maheshwari, Jain, Dixit and Bhatt, 2006).
