The internet is a major technological advancement reshaping not only our society but also that of universities worldwide. In the light of this, universities have to capitalize on the internet for teaching and one progressive development of this is use of online delivery method. In post liberalized Indian scenario management education has seen tremendous growth, with increasing number of institutions offering MBA course and also industrial requirement for Management graduates. Multitasking is the need of the hour, thousands of executives who after long hours of work at job run to attend classes in the evening. They are going back to B-Schools to brand themselves with a Masters in Business Administration degree. Taking the above context in view, an attempt is made to find the potential of online management education and the perception of students regarding online courses. This paper attempts to compare online management education visa-vis traditional approaches and pedagogical features required for online Management education.
