Critical analysis of textile industry in India

The annual reports published in the form of bulletins by the apex bank, Reserve Bank of India, or such organizations have got a reference of ‘textiles’. The name though occupies very little space but represents a lot of factors. In this paper one may find the aspects that were dealt concerning the textile sector before independence and current times. This paper might enlighten the readers about the FDI aspect as well. This is so because FDIs had a very little role to play before 21^st century. In flow of the FDI and the data of exports too have been mentioned for the readers to critically analyze the factors with which India can benefit.
