Embedding spiritual intelligence at workplace-an interpretive structural modelling technique

Abstract

In recent years, Spiritual Intelligence is crystallized in different ways. Workplace issues and conflicts are becoming a common phenomenon. Managing and resolving these workplace behavioural issues requires demonstration of spiritually intelligent behaviour at workplace. Present study focuses on identification of the factors underlying spiritually intelligent workplace behaviour. In this context, 10 variables were identified from literature review and a structural model is developed. The model helps in identifying the strategic, operational and linkage variables which demonstrates spiritual intelligence. Better understanding of these variables and of contextual relationships between these variables can help the business organizations to frame policies to solve managerial issues and complex problem. Interpretive structural modelling technique has been used to develop the model.
