“Customer oriented strategy of the public sector banks and it's bearing on the financial enactment”

Abstract

Continuous changes in the business environment are demanding organizations to be dynamic in nature as well as more customers centric. In order to become the market leaders, the organizations like public sector banks needs to improvise their existing strategies so that they can have competitive advantage with the financial gains. This research paper is articulated to access the impact and the relationship of the customer-oriented strategies on the financial performance in the banking sector. The study has been done on the major players of the public sector banks i.e. State Bank of India & Punjab National Bank and the results shows that there is positive correlation between the customer-oriented strategies &financial performance of the banks.
