“Customer awareness towards marketing and its impact on business sales and consumer sales in present scenario: Success or failure”

Abstract

Customers are gradually changing their buying habits and their perception of purchasing at an increasing rate from the last decade. In today scenario, the customer is now much more aware of marketing and its strategies. Customer intelligence and knowledge before purchase and post-purchase will leave a strong impact on success or failure of business sales and consumer sales. Those who design marketing strategies for business sales are also known as B2B and those who design marketing strategies for consumer sales are also known as B2C. Business to Consumers (B2C) companies have more creative options than those in Business to Business (B2B) companies because of the product, Each form of sales provide, and also because of the nature of transactions occurring between buyer and seller. Business to Business (B2B) companies involving in long systematic processes before closing a deal, looking after the market conditions Business to Customers (B2C) pour extra step which leads to getting success in the market but on the other hand, sometimes leads to failure too because of certain marketing mishaps that force unnecessary delays in the business growth.

The conceptual model of this study illustrates the impact of business sales and customer sales, which is assessed through a hierarchy of effects between awareness, purchase and post-purchase. The finding of the study indicates that according to today's changing world this impact can lead to success or failure of any product or company. The study provides marketing managers with a clear understanding of business sales and customer sales strategies.
