The empirical study analyzes the influence of the Entrepreneurial education in shaping Engineering students‘ entrepreneurial intentions (EI). In the past, researchers have found that education provided in technical institutions produced engineers for whom there was no market demand. Therefore, many institutes have introduced entrepreneurship education courses with the objective to equip prospective engineers with requisite awareness and skills for starting their own ventures. The present research endeavors to gauge the influence of Entrepreneurship Education (EE) on EI and Personal Traits of engineering students from the State of Rajasthan. The required data were gathered from a sample of 250 engineering students through an online questionnaire entitled Effect of EE on Entrepreneurial Intent, and Personal Traits (EEEEIPT). The Data was evaluated utilizing IBM SPSS version 23. Descriptive statistics of the sum of factors, Cronbach's Alpha, and t-tests and Levene's Test for Equality of Variances and Pearson's Correlation were conducted to test formulated hypotheses. The outcome of the study demonstrates that EE influences the EI of engineering students positively. Moreover, it was established that Entrepreneurship Students have a greater need for achieving and entrepreneurial alertness and Innovativeness. The results show that correlations exist between entrepreneurial intention and personal traits. The study provides implications for technical institutions and policymakers to bring forth engineering students’ entrepreneurial performance and thus enhance entrepreneurship among them. The paper concludes with suggestions for additional studies for incorporating entrepreneurial education in the Technical education curricula.
