“Cooperatives are of the people, for the people, and cannot be harmful to the economies of developing countries”
Cooperatives are not new to developing economies. Still they failed to penetrate into the inner depths of the problems of the nations. This is because this notion is superimposed and not born within among the people. Constant spoon-feeding by the Government on which their very survival depends is not a healthy sign. Though they may rely on the Government to some extent, it should be necessarily a peoples’ movement.
