Performance of measurment of some B-schools in India through Data Envelopment Analysis

The budgetary constraint on the Government funded B-Schools, entry of foreign B-Schools and establishment of private universities providing management education in India has necessitated in measuring the efficiency of these schools. Many magazines & journal reports on regular basis ranking of B-Schools based on the subjective surveys. In this paper, we have compared the efficiency of selected B-Schools in India using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), which is relatively new but powerful quantitative & analytical tool for measuring and evaluating the performance.
