Some new 1-aryloxyaceryl -4-aryl thioserntearbazides (1–15), 2-arylamino-5-aryloxyrnethyl-1,3,4,-thiadiazoles (16–30) and 3-aryloxymethyl -4-aryl-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles (31–45) have been prepared. Some of these compounds have been screened for their antifungal activity against two fungi, viz. A. niger and H. Oryzae at 1000, 100 and 10 ppm were found to be fungicidal. A possible structure activity relationship has been discussed.
