Beauveria brongniartii tolerated copper oxychloride and dzadirachtin (0(03%) even at higher concentrations (1000 and 2000 ppm), but chlorothalonil, ridomil MZ-70, mancozeb, monocrotophos, chlorpyriphos, quinalphos and endosulfan were moderately tolerated, showing less than 50% growth inhibition at 1000 ppm concentration. The fungus was very sensitive to carbendazim and thiram even at 10 ppm level. Nicast stimulated its growth by 12.5 per cent. Sugar mill effluent (SME) was also tolerated by it upto 2% level in Czapek's agar medium.
