The mannich bases, N (7-hydroxy-4-methyl-8-yl) methyl/benzyl glycine ((II) N-(4,6,7-trimethyl coumarin-8-yl) methyl/ethyl glycine (II) and N-(7-hydroxy-4-methyl-coumarin-8-yl) methyl/ethyl) substituted amines (III) were synthesised by the condensation of 7-hydroxy-4-methyl coumarins, aminoacids and aryldelydes. The fungicidal activity against Aspergillus flavus and Pyricularia oryzae is reported.
