Nine insecticidal products were tested for their biosafety to Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) in the laboratory. None of the insecticides was found safe to the predator. However, neem seed extract proved comparatively safe followed by phosalone. Chlorpyriphos, deltamethrin and cypermethrin were found highly toxic to Chrysoperla.
