Abstract

Triadimenol photodegraded readily when irradiated in methanol under ultra-violet light from a medium pressure mercury lamp to a number of photoproducts, which have been isolated and characterised by NMR, IR and MS. The rate of photodegradation in methanol and as thin film on glass surface followed first order rate kinetics with significant correlation coefficient.
