Abstract

Fifty samples of green chilli were monitored for different pesticides applied to the crop at different stages of its growth. The 30 samples showed contamination of phosphamidon, HCH, carbofuran, monocrotophos, endosulfan and fenvalerate. Eight samples showed insecticide residues above maximum residue limit (MRL).
