Abstract

Endosulfan 0.07% sprays on cabbage recorded initial deposits of 0.882 ppm (head intact) and 0.654 ppm (head with top leaves removed) which were below FAO tolerance limit of 2.0 ppm and showed 90.06 and 87.41% dissipation, respectively, in 10 days. As the initial deposits itself were below MRL, therefore, endosulfan can safely be used on cabbage.
