Abstract

The bioefficacy of Lambda cyhalothrin (karate®) 5 EC was assessed in comparison with fenvalerate (Anchor®) 20 EC and endosulfan (Thiodan®) 35 EC against brinjal shoot and fruit borer. Lambda cyhalothrin applied at the rate of 30 g a.i. ha−1 was found effective against shoot and fruit borer on brinjal. The order of efficacy was Lambda cyhalothrin > endosulfan > fenvalerate.
