Studies conducted under field conditions on the comparative bioefficacy of neem formulations and chlorpyriphos 20 EC against rice leaf-folder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenee) on rice variety HKR-120, revealed that chlorpyriphos 20 EC @ 500 g a.i. ha−1 was most effective in reducing leaf damage as well as larval population of rice leaf-folder than the commercial products of neem. Two neem products Neemgold and Neem Azal were found moderately effective in managing rice leaf-folder and increasing yield.
