Schiff bases of ethylvanillin synthesized by condensing ethylvanillin with aniline and substituted anilines were tested in vitro against Curvularia lunata, Fusarium oxysporum, Alternaria alternata and Myrothecium roridutn for their antifungal activity. The antifungal activity was enhanced by the presence of ethoxy group in the C-phenyl ring than methoxy group.
