A field experiment was conducted to study the residues of quinalphos in green gram (var. Sarala) and blackgram (var. Dhauli) in the Rabi season of 1994–95. It was applied @ 0.5 and 1 kg a.i. ha−1 one month after sowing and at pod initiation stage. The safe waiting period of 18 to 23 d in greengran and 17 to 22 d in black gram, respectively, is reported.
