Endosulfan Residue and its Dissipation in Lucerne (Medicago sativa L.)

Endosulfan was applied as foliar spray on lucerne @ 500 g a.i. ha⁻¹ and 1000g a.i. ha⁻¹ and 700 1 ha⁻¹, at 70 d after sowing and 15 d after the first application. Within 7 d 80% residue dissipated after second spraying and on 25^th d 0.09 and 0.26 ug g⁻¹ of total endosulfan persisted at lower and higher dose, respectively.
